Match

The Match question type assesses fact knowledge by asking learners to pair related cards from a face-up grid. Learners demonstrate mastery by finding matching pairs — with immediate visual feedback on correct and incorrect selections.

Works with any subject where learners need to connect related facts — vocabulary terms and definitions, math expressions and values, historical events and dates. Complements the Flashcards and Memory question types by providing a different practice mode for the same set of facts.

How it works

Learners are presented with a set of face-up cards, each showing a fact that matches one other card. They select pairs to demonstrate their knowledge. Incorrect matches are highlighted in red; correct matches turn green and are removed from play.

Automatic scoring tracks the number of misses, and progress is recorded for review at any time.
